General Q & A / Re: 2009 Quicksilver 10.0 Wheel Question
September 14, 2022, 08:28:09 PM
I'm not sure, but In a brochure I have it says 12".
I would get a picture from seller of tire size, it's right on the outside of tire itself. If wheel has 4 bolts, should be a 4 on 4 bolt pattern. If 5 bolts, then 5 on 4 1/2 bolt pattern.
Definitely take grease gun, all the campers and toyhaulers have ez lube axles, I don't know if the older pop-ups do. If it does, jack up tire using the trailer frame, and pump grease into end of axle while spinning tire.
If not, then you or someone else would have to take apart the hub to grease it properly.
Good luck.

Older Model Lines / Re: Livin’ Lite Roof

Haven't heard of that model. Post a picture if you can. If it's an aluminum roof, then you can use Dicor RV sealant. I prefer NON-self leveling. Put down a couple foot bead, then have a cup Handy with water and a bit of soap to help smooth it where you want it to go. Just kind of tap it to smooth out. The self leveling stuff flows too flat in my opinion.

Challenger Door out of Indiana is who you want to get ahold of. They were bought out by Lippert last year, not sure what name they are using currently. There "should" be a white sticker on the ramp door on one of the interior outside/perimeter edges. That will tell them all the details to make an exact replacement. Does not come with graphics, handles, or license plate holder as far as I know. I would try asking if there is a special price for Livin Lite. If so, figure about ~$1300-1500 for the door itself plus packaging and freight. If not, it could be over $2k. Haven't done a ramp so not entirely sure. It would save hundreds if you can go there and pick it up. Just put it inside your trailer or see if they can install there.
Depending on how bad it is, find a local fabricator and see what it would cost to repair. Maybe use diamond plate on the outside unless you can find some aluminum sheets that match in color. Post a picture if you can?

Here are paint codes. I do not know from what year, but it's something.

If you are on Facebook, check out the Livin Lite groups there. There is one for toyhaulers, Camplite trailers, and the truck campers. Lots of good info and they are pretty active groups. Much more than here.
With the tow vehicle you have, you would probably be looking at the 11fk or 13' models. Those are light enough to be able to pulled by the Highlander I would think. If you decide to do this, I would try to find ANY enclosed trailer of similar dimensions and pull that first to see how it does so you aren't surprised later.

Hi William. For values, check out KBB RV values. Livin Lite brand, and then try Quicksilver for the model. M 7x20 showed up when I checked and a base value was 21-25k.
I think they've been going for around 18-25k recently. Just depends on location and condition. I believe there were some for sale in the Midwest. Michigan and maybe Indiana. These were on Facebook Marketplace. Good luck!

You aren't the only one. There is a sticker on the door itself somewhere. Get a picture of that and contact Challenger Door in Indiana. If you have that sticker, they can get you an exact replacement. Make sure you tell them it's for a Livin Lite trailer. Pricing should be around $450-$500, then there is shipping as well.

Can you get a picture of it and post?

And here are a couple pictures.

It was in mine when I got it. 1 for each tip-out. This is on a 2014 toyhauler model. Also had it on a 2013 toyhauler.

It is for a 12volt light. It plugs in there, has a flexible cord, and clips onto the tip-out pole. I'll try to get a picture of mine soon.

First question would be, do you a need a WDH hitch for that trailer? It weighs around 3000 lbs dry with 350 lbs tongue weight. You may not need it at all, even with the Colorado. Have you been towing it and noticed issues?

QuickSilver Toy Haulers / Re: Quicksilver Dealerships
August 26, 2021, 09:15:37 PM
They stopped making them several years ago. The only ones you will find now are used.
Go on the Livin Lite Facebook group and post there. Maybe someone will be fairly close by with one you can see.

There is one for sale in Florida. Not close by, but I don't see these for sale very often. Good luck.
