Welcome! Owneer of a 2013 21BHS (since new).  It's been great over the last 4+ years, hope you experience the same. 

The new dual axle Camplites use leaf springs and the MorRyde suspensions which are excellent.  The fiberglass walls are an option, but they do look nice.  My 2013 21BHS, with the aluminum roof and floor has been an outstanding trailer so far and we've taken it from Florida to places like Arizona and Utah.  That said, I would not hesitate to purchase another Camplite.  They've managed to open the line up to a larger audience while still still providing a unique trailer that is a cut above the typical offerings.  The rubber roof is a higher grade roofing material than most trailers.  The foam floor is a poor description since it is a laminate of materials with aluminum ribs, much different from foam flooring in other campers.  The 1" aluminum tubing was overkill in some areas of the camper, and this change saves a bit of weight.  So if someone buys a new Camplite they are still getting a really nice trailer; far above other many other brands.

Hello I just discovered the forum and popped in to introduce myself. I'm the proud owner of a new Livin Lite CL21RBS that I tow with a Nissan Frontier SV V6. I purchased it from Windish RV in Lakewood, CO around Thanksgiving and towed it to California but didn't have a chance to actually camp in it till this week when I took it for it's maiden voyage to Lone Pine, CA over Christmas. Awesome trailer.

Welcome from Central Florida!  We've had our 21BHS for over 4 years and it's been a terrific trailer.  Enjoy!

Agree 100%  URL for Paul's forum is also posted in the thread about Dan's departure.

If this forum is going to go with no admin, there is always aluminumcamperforum.com.  That is a great site with a lot of Livin Lite owners.  It is basically the follow on to the original livinlite forum before the company got involved.

Well this was certainly a wasted effort.

It has always been a pretty low priority for them and this hijacked new forum seems to be more like an echo chamber for questions that go unanswered and issues that aren't addressed. People expect factory participation on a factory hosted forum, and it's just not there...

Exactly.  They would have been better leaving the previous forum alone.

I changed the vent covers on my 2013 21BHS.  They weren't bad at all.  Just take your time and you'll find it pretty simple. 

Agree 100%.  Makes me wonder about future commitment to this site and customers.

I've heard that Dan is gone.  I know he was considering retiring at some point, so I hope that is the case.

Is anyone from the company taking over for Dan?

It is in the November newsletter accessible near the top of the menu.  It is an excellent article that really got me thinking.

Was this purchased new?  I wonder if someone made a quick switch because a panel was damaged and used luan instead of azdel.

I think the cabinet faces would be your only issue if they are the wood cabinet doors.  Other than that, the cabinets themselves have no wood.

Can't think of a reason.  My 2013 21BHS has the privacy portion at the bottom.
