Enjoy your trip.  We've made several long trips with our 21BHS; the longest from Florida, out to the Grand Canyon, then up to Moab, UT.  In total we were gone about 3.5 weeks.  It was amazing and the Camplite was great.  Rocky Mountain NP is on our list and we loved Yellowstone.  I retire next year so we'll head back out west again then.  Until then we've made several trips to Townsend, TN and the Smoky Mountain NP.  Another favorite of mine.

Our 2013 21BHS has been excellent.  The biggest issue is corrosion along the edges of the entry door as well as the cargo doors.  Other than that, make sure the windows are in good shape; open and close correctly and all of the latches are there.  Also, just make sure everything works.  All of the parts inside the camper are pretty much industry standard stuff, so even if the dealer you're looking at doesn't seem to good, no problem getting most parts from elsewhere.

I'd agree with Mitch.  It is a bit lower, and I would like it to be a bit taller, but it is certainly bearable.  My 21BHS does not have the skylight, so the newer models with the skylight have a bit more room.  I'm 6' 2".

The 5th wheels did not have aluminum roofs because of they could not bend them around the roof line.  They also have steel frames because of the increased stress on a fifth wheel.  They were two points of contention among some when they first came out.  I still find them really fascinating and tempting. 

I'm 6'2".  We have a 2013 21BHS and the ceiling height is fine.  Gets a little tight just under the air conditioner but nothing that causes an issue.

I sealed mine with Geocell sealant.  That took care of it.

I started to get some bubbling on the door of my 2013 21BHS.  There was water draining from inside the door, so I knew moisture was getting in.  I removed the window, and resealed the glass.  No additional bubbling since.

Thanks for the responses. I plan on contacting the dealer and see if it is still covered under warranty. I know why it happened. I had some beverages stored under the dinette (maybe about 40 or 50 pounds). the left corner of the facade dug into the floor as the slide came in. There is not much of a gap under the facade and there is some rock to the slide. I would make sure your slide has little to no weight in it when you move it.

That makes sense.  My 2013 21BHS does not have any storage under the dinette and sits about 4" above the floor so I'm not used to that.  Hope it is covered, but if not looks like you're good to go.

If out of warranty or too much hastle to get defunct LL to fix, then this might work:

Smooth down the ripped section with a warm iron, or heat gun. Then get an automotive vinyl upholstery repair kit. Use the kit to make the patch. I was surprised at how nice a patch it made to a ripped section of our car's seat.

This could be a good fix.  However, before trying this make sure you understand why the rip occurred in the first place and ensure it won't be happening again.  No sense making the repair if the problem that caused it in the first place is still there.

Those frame pieces look significantly smaller than the ones used on my 2013 21BHS.  I realize the 16DB was lighter, but there does seem to be a big difference.
