Upgrades and Modifications / Hood vent exhaust
May 07, 2017, 02:13:19 PM
Has anyone modified their hood vent so that it vents outside instead of just filtering the smoke? They must sell a kit? I've noticed a lot of high end trailers (airstream) and not so high end trailers (Rockwood) all vent outside. I'm a little disappointed that Livin Lite doesn't.  :-\

CampLite Travel Trailers / New Axle Questions
May 02, 2017, 07:22:09 PM
Does anyone know anything about these new leaf spring axles? Does Dexter still make them? What does wide-track mean? What is MORryde suspension? This is what they have listed for equipment on the 2018 Livin Lite Travel Trailers.  :-\ Wide-Track Leaf Spring Axles w/MORryde® Suspension

CampLite Travel Trailers / Breakaway switch
February 08, 2017, 08:53:38 PM
Can somebody tell me where my breakaway switch gets its power from?  I hook it up every time I tow but I never really gave much thought as to where it's powered from. If the trailer separates from the TV while towing, obviously the power can't come from the tow vehicle. So I guess its powered from the 12v battery in the battery box on the tounge, or does it have its own seperate battery? If so, where is it located and should I be maintaining it? My trailer is all covered up for the winter so I can't really check it till spring.

Are there any historians on this forum who might want to take the time to briefly summarize the history of Livin Lite in an unbiased format so that new members of this board as well as some folks who transferd over from the now defunct Livin Lite board could be apprised of all the changes that Livin Lite has gone through over the past few years. Management? Production locations? Changes which might have caused a little controversy and some animosity amoung some owners and members? For example who is Scott Tuttle?  Who built Livin Lites after he sold out to Thor?  Is K-Z RV now building all Livin Lites  for Thor? Is K-Z as reputable a company as they say they are? Are they really trying to bring Livin Lite back to its original bones (all aluminum). Will Livin Lite keep its unique and reputable reputation? Maybe someone from Livin Lite can give us some honest answers. There have been a lot of disgruntled people on the previous board who had a lot to say and there are lot of new owners who are optimistic about their new purchase. Maybe someone from K-Z's management team might want to enlighten us! Enquiring minds want to know??

Anyone else out there enjoying their 13' Livn Lite TT?  Thought I'd  start a thread specific to the 13 footers. Just to get the ball rolling. I know they don't make them any more so that makes us special  ;)
