HI all, I posted last fall about a slide out problem, my Schwintek slide mechanism had gone out of alignment from top to bottom. Three weeks ago brought trailer back from storage and started tearing things apart, a little difficult but doable. Finally got things realigned and back together and was very happy with myself until I went back inside to try the slide and noticed that the dinette was still leaning into the trailer, the far inside edge almost touching the floor ! I then took the deck and sides off the dinette only to find that the entire weight of the dinette was being held up by 2 #10 self tapping screws on each side which had pulled most of the way out.The only way I could think to reinforce it was to thru bolt the dinette frame to the alum. frame in the wall of the slide out. I thought I was done again, but no! I now noticed a separation between the wall and the base trim at the floor line, I can now move the bottom of the wall 1/2 -3/4 inch by hand. My assumption is that the base of the wall was secured the same way as the dinette with a few self tappers, which over time with the weight of the slide, have sheared off. I was curious if anyone else has had this problem or has any ideas on a solution. I have contacted KZ-RV but I'm not holding out much hope on that end. ANY ideas??????? THANKS :o

CampLite Travel Trailers / Swintec slide out problem
November 03, 2018, 12:58:41 PM
Hello all,
We just returned from a nice long end of season trip. When we got home I started to prep the trailer ( 2014 CL-21BHS ) to go into storage for the winter, when I noticed that the inside edge of my slideout was dragging on the floor while extending out. The mechanism seems to be working fine and we had not noticed any binding or grinding or anything unusual during our trip. It now seems that it is out of level by at least 1/2 inch top to bottom. Wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this, and has any ideas / solutions. Is this a dealer only kind of repair or are there some DIY things that I could try? This seems like something that could get a bit pricey !!! Any ideas would be helpful, THANKS.

Hello All,
We have a 2014 21BHS, and were wondering if anyone has tried to modify the queen bed into a Murphy bed type . We have seen similar Ideas in other brands , and like the idea of the extra space it gives you when not sleeping. Any ideas or suggestions would be welcome ! Enjoy the season , It's almost here !!

CampLite Travel Trailers / roof sealant
August 21, 2017, 08:06:44 PM
Hello,
I have a 2014 21-BHS with the one piece aluminum roof. While inspecting the roof I noticed some very small cracking developing in the white sealant around the perimeter of the roof and some of the vent flanges. I don't have any leaks but would like to address this before I do . I'm hoping that someone can tell me what type of sealant this is and if it can be coated over without removing all the old sealant. Thanks in advance for any answers .

Hello,
Was wondering if anyone has devised a way to make dropping the spare tire from under the frame then replacing it any easier ?  It looks like a real chore for one person, especially at night or if the weather was bad. I have a few primitive ideas but was hoping there might be some better ideas out there.  THANKS

General Q & A / Finding the closest Livin'Lite dealer
January 22, 2017, 12:03:28 PM
We own a 2014 21BHS and just had some work done at the dealership where we purchased it. The dealership has changed ownership since we made the purchase, and we were told that they will no longer be a Livin'Lite dealer. I would like to locate our nearest dealership, should we need any brand specific parts or accessories. we live in northern New Jersey 07626 Zip.If anyone knows of another dealer please let us know. Thanks
