Great mod to keep cabinet doors open

I used these type of struts on the swing up overhead cabinets and bench cabinets on my 13 QBB. I had to fabricate some aluminum brackets and used aluminum pop rivets to secure. They look and function great!

I bought these, wow they have more power than needed to open the door....

If they are too powerful move the upper mount point closer to the door.  The directions said to put the upper mount 5 cm from the door, this caused a twist in my doors,  I moved it as close as I could and now they work great.
