I used to buy three hats a year. They'd fade, warp, or the brim would crack clean through. Waste of money. Waste of closet space. Then I started actually looking at what I was wearing. Thin fabric. Glued brims. Mesh that trapped heat instead of moving it. Garbage construction hiding under cool logos.

Now I only get truck caps made out of premium material. Heavy cotton fronts that keep their shape. Real mesh backs that breathe. Thread counts you can feel. The difference isn't subtle. One survives washing. The other dies in the rain. Hat Store Canada stocks what I actually wear now. Not because they're fancy. Because they work.
