Office activator not restoring features

I tried the activator for Microsoft Office because the system suddenly lost its activation and some features were blocked. But after using it, nothing changed; the features are still unavailable. I'm doing it intuitively, maybe I'm doing something wrong. Maybe you know of a safe way to quickly restore full access to Office with instructions and no risk to files?
