Hey everyone, I was at a grocery store yesterday and noticed some products had digital price tags instead of the usual paper barcodes. It got me thinking—by 2030, will paper labels even be a thing anymore? I mean, I love scanning items with my phone for quick price checks, but it feels weird that something as simple as paper might disappear. Has anyone else seen this shift happening in everyday life?

I visited a warehouse last week, and the whole place was a maze of racks and moving carts. It struck me how much we rely on little tech tools to keep everything organized. Seeing people double-check lists and devices constantly made me appreciate how much invisible tech goes into making sure things actually get from A to B without a headache. Sometimes the simplest system can save hours of chaos.

I work in a small retail shop, and we've been experimenting with digital barcodes for a few months now. Honestly, it's way easier to manage stock since we can update prices instantly without reprinting labels. Even my team noticed scanning with a phone is faster than traditional scanners. For anyone curious, I've been using something like barcode reader software  https://ocrstudio.ai/barcode-scanner/ and it makes scanning items a breeze—no more torn or faded labels slowing things down. I think paper might stick around for a while, but mostly as a backup.
