Ever Turned a Childhood Obsession Into a Serious Hobby?

I was one of those kids who could spend hours staring at action figures or sketching spaceships on the back of my math homework. I used to be obsessed with anything sci-fi — Star Wars, Mass Effect, you name it. It kinda faded for a while during college, but recently I got back into it... in a different way. I started tinkering with 3D modeling just for fun, and now I've been printing and painting my own collectibles. It's wild how something I loved as a kid is now what I do to unwind after work. Anyone else go through something similar?
