I'm new to owning a boat and kind of stressed about where to keep it once summer ends. Last winter, I just kept it covered in the driveway, but it was a hassle and I'm worried about damage. What's the best way to store a boat over the off-season, especially in Texas where weather can be unpredictable?

Boat storage can be a pain, but finding a good spot really makes life easier. I used to keep mine at home too, but after one too many surprise hailstorms, I looked for something better. I ended up going with (thecliffsmarina.com https://thecliffsmarina.com/ since they offer covered slips and even spots for jet skis. The main thing is to find a place that's protected from sun, rain, and the occasional freeze. Also, somewhere that's got staff checking in now and then is a huge plus. If you store at the lake, it's also way more convenient when you're ready to get back on the water next season.

Totally get the stress—Texas weather can be rough! Indoor storage Scrandle or a good boat storage facility can really help protect your investment long-term

Boat storage is something I never thought about until my neighbor's boat cover got shredded in a storm. Definitely makes me think twice about leaving anything expensive outside year-round.
