I feel like I learned more about teamwork from old games like CS 1.6 than from anything else. You had to actually communicate, plan, and rely on your squad. It wasn't just about running around shooting — you really had to play together to win. Did anyone else feel like those games taught them how to work in a team?

Totally agree. You couldn't just lone wolf it in CS 1.6, especially if you wanted to win rounds consistently. It was all about covering each other and making calls. If you want to see how it felt again, the download Counter-Strike 1.6 is still out there, and honestly, even randoms will start playing as a team if you talk to them. I noticed when I played recently, people were still quick to share info and help out, even if they didn't know you. Old games really made teamwork matter.

Some of my best memories are from working together with friends in games like that. Teamwork always made the difference, and you got to know people pretty well through playing together.

Those definitely gave you a lot of opportunities to practice team play.

Never liked the idea of cooperation in gaming. When you're playing with friends that's kind of ok but playing with randoms is an absolute disaster most of the times. I'd better just go here and play spades. That will actually help me to relax rather than making me angry. I deal with idiots enough in real life.
