I'm a fan of AC/DC and Linkin Park. Is there an online radio with a good selection of rock music? Preferably free and with a minimum of ads. Where do you listen to rock music? What rock bands do you like?

I like heavy rock music, bands like Metallica, System of a Down and Queen. I love old school rock :) Check out https://kuasark.com/en/genres/rock/ , maybe you'll like it too. You can listen to radio for free on Kuasark and there is a special section with rock music. I usually listen to Hard Rock Heaven on Kuasark, and sometimes I listen to Soft Classic Rock. Where do you usually hear rock music?

Do radio stations like that even exist anymore? It's a shame this whole era is fading away. It feels like all they play now is trash or super overplayed tracks that everyone's totally sick of.

When there are so many ways to get music, both paid and free, radio really loses its competitiveness. Lately, I've been using not so much streaming platforms, but the tubidy mp3 service, through which I've downloaded a lot of music I like, including a lot of new stuff I found on YouTube, and now I listen to it while I'm on the go.

Yes, there are several great options for free online rock radio with minimal ads. RockRadio is a solid choice with dedicated channels for classic rock, alternative, metal, and more. AccuRadio also offers customizable rock stations with fewer ads. If you're looking for variety, TuneIn and Radio Garden let you explore rock stations from around the world. Some people also try tools like Spotify Premium Free APK to access rock playlists without limitations, though it's important to be cautious with unofficial apps. I usually listen to classic and alternative rock through RockRadio or YouTube Music. Bands like Foo Fighters, Muse, and Shinedown are among my favorites.
