Yup. Mine is probably circa 2008 or something and there are none of these issues. It's a simple, cold, hard aluminum box. I've had the zippers upgraded over the years as the tent vinyl has shrunk and tightened a bit, but otherwise, it's been good. I was disappointed to hear that in more recent years the company moved away from all aluminum floor construction. I put down some foam-backed carpet and it's been fine.
