Best tires for Quicksilver 8.0??
« on: September 27, 2017, 06:44:45 PM »
We put 15K miles on our 8.0 this summer.  Loved every minute of it!!  Now we are looking to replace the original tires but are at a loss as to which brand or type of tire to buy.  Is there an obvious best tire for this trailer?   Or maybe a reliable tire dealer to work with?

Thanks for any information you can provide.

I replaced my 12” originals with Carlisle brand and they are doing great: even with lots of rough gravel roads. I think they are called “Radial Trail RH”.

MRF tires are the best for RVs. They are tubeless and zinc coated. Has better grip on the tracks.

I am using Goodyear Unisteel G614 RST tires and am very happy with it, would recommend it to anyone. These tires have a flat tread that allows the entire tread to rest on the ground, providing good traction

Tires are indeed the most imperative aspect of a recreational vehicle. RV tires are considered as the best option to increase the experience of the RV vehicle. Toyo vs Michelin RV is the major contender here who can steal the limelight.
