I've been looking into getting a solid internet connection while camping in remote areas, like deep in the woods. I know there are options like satellite internet or using a mobile hotspot with an external antenna. Have you tried any of these?

SyntaxRider

Yeah, I've used a mobile hotspot with a signal booster before. It works well if you're somewhere with at least a weak cell signal. If you're completely off the grid, though, satellite internet is pretty much the only option. Starlink's RV version is getting popular for that.

How good is the connection with these setups? Is it reliable enough for normal internet use?

SyntaxRider

That depends on what you're planning to do. For basic browsing, messaging, and even video calls, it's usually fine. But if you need low latency and high stability, it can be hit or miss.

I might be playing some games or watching a series in the evenings. Would that work?

SyntaxRider

If you want to watch a series, it's better to download it beforehand to avoid buffering. As for gaming, it depends on how much the game relies on a constant, stable connection.

I usually play Clash Royale, but sometimes I check this website to see if any new bonuses have appeared, and if they have, I play at an online casino.

For Clash Royale, you might struggle - these types of games rely on low ping and stable internet, and satellite connections usually have high latency. With the other option, it depends. Poker and slots aren't the same in terms of connectivity needs - you might be able to play poker since it's turn-based, but slots, if they require a constant connection, might be a problem.
