Some of the cylinders that hold the window open on our new to us 2015 28BHS are broken. Can those be replaced independently from the window? If so, how would we order them? I donít see a parts page on the Dometic website. Thanks!

Windows struts are called Click Clack stays.

P/N is BG1969-???.
EX.  BG1969-350 is for a 500x300 window
last 3 of P/N is based on the window size.
Window size is printed on the window corner.

500x300=-350
500x520=-590
700x400=-450
700x520=-590
900x300=-350
900x450=-500
900x520=-590
1300x520=-590

Got mine from Atwood Products

I forgot to latch the kitchen window in our 2016 16TBS. Triple A RV in Medford,OR was able to order a replacement window for $180 + $150 shipping to them, plus an as yet unknown shipping cost to send it to me. A VERY expensive lesson!
April 6, 2018  We have STILL not received the replacement window. Triple A RV has tried repeatedly to contact Livin Lite to check on why they are not shipping the window and can't get an answer. Since we have already paid for the window and shipping, we are stuck with this sorry situation.

Adding to this thread since it contains important information.

It looks like we are victims of a common dilemma. My son took off with the trailer and the kitchen window was not latched & it was gone when he reached his destination.

Our unit is a 2014 16DBS and it appears that the window is a 500x300. Only the hinge is left.

Would I be able to replace the window with the newer model that is in current use?
Whether we order the new or old version, will it come with all the hardware (struts and stuff) that will be needed?

Thanks.

Unless it is a warranty item, for windows, you may consider these folks who make windows similar to those found in our LL's.

Their website says that these windows are European made. I will bet they are exactly the same as the LL OEM Dometic Seitz windows and are made by the same manufacturer.

Somewhere in the thread below the folks from Arctic Tern discuss the differences.  Haven't seen one in person, but from the pics, they look pretty much the same.

Ran across this post about the new windows for 2018 toy hauler 8.5 x 31fb. I was wondering who we can order the newer style windows from?
Thanks
