Awning / Screen House installation — how to do it?

Hi everyone,

As a new owner of a brand new 14XLP, I'm having a little trouble figuring out some of the installation details of the combo Awning / Screen House I purchased with the camper.

The screen house is attached to an awning, and the awning portion is zipped onto the zippers at the top of the SilverLight — just as you would attach a regular awning that doesn't have screen attached. And the 4 telescoping poles set up & stake out just like a regular awning. So far so good.

But there are three details that mystify me:
• The screen house zipper "door" zips open from the top to the bottom, meaning that you have to reach all the way up to the top (a high reach!!) to unzip the door to get in and out. So strange. All other screen houses I've used zip open from the bottom, so you can unzip it only as much as you need to get in and out.
• 4 pieces of gray canvas (about 4 x 6 ft, with ties along one short end) came in the package with the awning / screen house. Not sure what these are for. Perhaps to make some sort of curtain within the screen house? But I can't see anywhere to attach them to the screen house inside.
• And finally, the screen house attaches to the tent by long velcro strips on the left and right. But there are also snaps along that edge below where the velcro ends. But nothing came to snap on to those snaps. I had thought that maybe something gets snapped onto those edges to create a sort of skirt along the bottom of the camper to keep bugs from flying in from that direction. But that's only a guess.

Does anyone have any experience with this awning / screen house combo, who could help me figure this out?

(A regular awning also shipped with the camper, which I haven't tried out yet. I'm sure it will work just fine since it's simpler than the screen house combo ... my question is just about the combo unit.)

Thanks in advance. We've camped out 5 times with our new SilverLight pop-up, and are happy with it so far.

I like people who really know how to do what they do. And this is especially true for the installation of plumbing. I recently turned to this company with all pros and cons about this. I am very happy with the way they work and I understand that they are real professionals and they know perfectly well how and what to do. And most importantly, they know how to make everything work for a long time.
