I am researching trailer locks. I am interested in this beast in particular https://www.provenlocks.com/collections/all?page=1
I'm assuming it's steel, I do have an email in to the company asking what it is.
My question is...if it is steel, will there be a corrosion problem with my trailers frame? I am so new at all of this..I don't even know if this is a silly question or not! Thanks for any help.

The coupler on the Camplite is steel, so there isn't an issue.

Excellent...thanks for the help.
One of my concerns that it is so large it is going to come in contact with the steel somewhere...it's a huge lock..lol

The Coupler is steel but it is plated. Raw steel will cause galvanic corrosion when in contact  with aluminum. Plating, powder coating, gasketing or some other medium must be used between raw aluminum and steel.
