I know this thread is a bit old, but I figured I'd check in to see if anyone has flown through DFW recently. Turkish Airlines has used Terminal D for quite a while, but gate assignments can shift depending on the day. Turkish Airlines usually works out of Terminal D at DFW, and check-in is on the departure level near the international carriers. I've flown through there a few times, and the layout is pretty straightforward once you're in the terminal. On longer trips, I've used Travel Business Class to sort out flights, which took a load off my plate and made juggling connections through DFW way less stressful.
